First Presentation / 5-17-2013
The first public Camp Reynolds Presentation was given on Friday, May 17th for a small group
from the Reynolds VFW Post # 7599 and their guests. They were giving a tour of the area to
Past National VFW Quartermaster John F. Gwizdak, from Georgia, who had been invited to join in the Reynolds Post's 50th Anniversary Celebration which took place Saturday, May 18th at the Reynolds Post.
The presentation took place at the Waugh House, home of the Greenville Historical Society in Greenville, PA. Janet Hills and John Moore, members of the Historical Society greeted the group to the Waugh House and also attended the presentation.
At the end of the presentation, Art Williams, the Camp Reynolds Project Manager was able to present Commander James Lewis, commander of the Reynolds VFW Post, a Camp Reynolds History Plaque and a Camp Reynolds History Booklet. Art also presented the Past National VFW Quartermaster a Camp Reynolds History Booklet.
