Earliest Connection
Art's parents purchased 10  acres of the former Camp Reynolds site when his dad came home from the Navy. They bought an officers administrative barracks (T-1153) and lived in it till 1961 when they built a split-level house on the property.
In his early teens he along with his friends would play Army on Delmar Street (formerly D Street) in the remains of a theater and recreation hall.
Camp's 50th Anniversary
In 1990 Art returned home from 16 years of teaching 5th grade in WV when his mother passed away. Upon returning, he started ACW Productions, a video services business. Then in 1992 a Camp Reynolds 50th Anniversary Committee was formed. They asked Art to produce a video of the 3 day celebration. Later in August he produced a video of the Time Capsule Burial ceremony.
PA State Historical Marker
